Despite overwhelming evidences That point me to the contrary I hold on to the good The unerring course for home Albeit the smoke blinding I breathe in the light Charging towards the unseen Trusting that it leads to where You are

My love, He has won my heart for you. So lost in Him, that the only way to find me is to be lost in Him too.

Stained crimson red
Hungry, though been fed
Dazed, confused, jaded
‘Cause been living in my head
Tell me, how do I magnify You?
Bring me home to You
Please, all of me for You
Love bring me back to You
I fear uncertainty
I desire clarity
Alone in this raging sea
I can, surely
But Your love corrects me
Your pain delivered me
I surrender the key
This broken heart declares Your glory

Then Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. 1 Samuel 2:1

Eyes wide open in anticipation
Never letting go of the inspiration
Running like the ocean seeking for the shore
Waiting for Your knock on my door

Despite the confusion
This never ending revolution
All the brokenness and despair
Nothing else but Your love’s left to share

Unafraid to take the dive
Thriving not just to survive
Surrendered the control
For my old heart paid for the toll

Looking for the world I’ve been denied
Kissing my pride goodbye, I died
My desperate search for the one
Ends where I’m weak but I’ve won.

This futile attempt to express my love for Him with a poem. Yes, I like corny and I like rhyming. ‘Til the day I am given the chance to write one for you. 🙂
